2 HOW IT WORKS Assistive Listening over WiFi. MobileConnect offers access ible education to students with hearing impairments and provides a great audible learning experience for everyone. It can be used for hearing support, translations or audio de scriptions. How it works. 3 With MobileConnect, the innovative assistive listening system, lectures are transmitted over WiFi in real-time and in high-quality to mobile devices and smartphones. To access a live stream, students simply need to download and install the free Mobile Connect app (available for ios and Android) and connect to their university's WiFi network with their own device.

5 8 APP Free app for ios and Android CONNECTSTATION 1. Download the app 3. Start the app and adjust sound The MobileConnect App can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and GooglePlay. Installation will start automatically directly after the download. After starting the app choose your desired channel. The "Personal Hearing Assistant" allows for a truly intuitive sound adjustment. Tweak spatial sounds or speech intelligibility simply by swiping your finger over the touchscreen. 2. Connect to the Wifi network Enter the system settings on your smartphone and choose the local WiFi network. 4. Start the Demo Mode If no active MobileConnect System is available. You can try out the whole app functionallity by starting the Demo Mode. The ConnectStation. 9 The ConnectStation is the heart of the MobileConnect system. It offers highest connectivity with up to 4 stereo channels and is easily integrated in any existing audio and network setup.
