6 Why should children with hearing loss wear hearing aids? Behaviour problems are found more commonly in children with hearing loss and the level of behaviour problems is highest amongst those children with hearing loss with the least developed language capabilities. Behavior problems are not related to the degree of hearing loss but rather to the child s ability to use language to communicate.
