Beneficials against stored product pests A component for the integrated control of stored product pests
An intelligent concept for a smart method Integration of beneficials with monitoring, cleaning and selective use of insecticides leads to good pest control with a minimal use of chemicals. Small beneficial efficient The beneficials used are harmless for man and the environment. Beneficials search systematically for their host even in the smallest niches and cracks attacking and destroying the larvae or eggs of the pest. The stored products are not part of the beneficials diet and they die out once their host has disappeared. Beneficials are barely visible to the naked eye so only 1.9 g of Trichogramma are needed per year for control of the Indianmeal moth in a m 3 room. Our beneficials are native species in Europe, mass-produced according to strict quality standards. The application strategy ensures that no insect residues will be found in the end products. Additional benefit No chemical residues in stored products No interruption of production process Option for extending an anti-resistance strategy Safe for the user Increased environmental sustainability
Small dosage excellent effect Four different beneficials were extensively tested under the naturally occuring conditions of a total of 13 different establishments. The effectiveness of the beneficials released was compared with the chemical control methods used in previous years. 4 TrichoControl The clever way to control storage moths By using Trichogramma systematically, moth infested stored products can be controlled effectively. The Ichneumon fly Trichogramma evanescens lays its eggs directly in the egg clutches of stored product moths that are found on surfaces of products and materials. Parasitized host eggs do not develop further. Against eggs of Mediterranean flour moth Ephestia kuehniella Tobacco moth Ephestia elutella Tropical warehouse moth Ephestia cautella Indian meal moth Plodia interpunctella Grain moth Sitotroga cerealella Cloth moth Tineola bisselliella 0.4 mm HabroControl Biological marksmanship against moth larvae The Braconid wasp Habrobracon hebetor is used preventatively as well as curatively, for the control of stored product moth larvae and can be applied in combination with Trichogramma evanescens. The wasp efficiently kills all stages of migrating moth larvae by paralysing and parasitising them. Against larvae of Mediterranean flour moth Ephestia kuehniella Tobacco moth Ephestia elutella Tropical warehouse moth Ephestia cautella Indian meal moth Plodia interpunctella Grain moth Sitotroga cerealella 4 mm
AnisoControl Impressive elimination of beetle larvae The females of the parasitic wasp Anisopteromalus calandrae actively search for and parasitize hidden larvae of different beetles infesting stored products and kill them. 3 mm Against larvae of Different snout beetles Sitophilus granarius / oryzae / zeamais Drugstore beetle Stegobium paniceum Cigarette beetle Lasioderma serricorne Lesser grain borer Rhyzopertha dominica Spider beetle Gibbium psylloides Logistics quick and species appropriate The beneficial insects are packed into cool styrofoam boxes and sent by courier mail, ensuring a delivery time of hours. Due to our quick dispatch procedures, beneficials can be released almost fresh from breeding, which greatly contributes to the success of the treatment. Protection of stored products with beneficials - The way into the future!

This is environmentally friendly and reduces the cost of transport. 10/10 Andermatt Biocontrol AG Stahlermatten 6 CH Grossdietwil Tel. +41 (0) Fax +41 (0) sales@biocontrol.ch
