Reduced Incretin Effect in Type 2 Diabetic Patients Type 2 Diabetes is a Global Cardio-metabolic Risk (CMR) DPP4 inhibitors (gliptins) is hypoglycemic class that inhibiting the action of DPP4 (which degrade the action of GLP-1 to convert it to inactive form DPP4 inhibitors drugs. Efficacy as Monotherapy compared to Metformin comparable efficacy at 2 yrs. 4. Dr. S. Socrates talked on addressing the CV risk in type 2 DM Cardiac morbidities due to diabetics. Shanmugasundar Talked on PPHG Clinical Significance and management Diabetic with very high level of PPG, rich carbohydrate diet and sedentary lifestyle, the cases were explained to the audience and the whole case was open for discussion. Audience actively participated in the discussion regarding the investigations and treatment. It was a very interactive session and the delegates thoroughly enjoyed it.
