2 We re Allseating but we re so much more than chairs. At Allseating, we believe that the most important component of a healthy work environment is your chair. So we ve worked hard to make ordering it, customizing it, adjusting it and sitting in it as easy as possible. How very Canadian of us! Since building our first prototype in Mississauga 30 years ago, we ve built a thriving business by designing seating that makes Canadian workplaces more comfortable and more productive. From coast to coast to coast, our team is standing by ready to help you do the same. Cindy Lawton-Moreby Regional Sales Director Allseating Corporation T: E: cindy@allseating Seating that s Nice to work with. What could be more Canadian? 3 ROTARY TASK CHAIRS TASKBecause you weren t designed to sit, we design task seating that helps you sit fit. The most common workplace injuries can happen while you re sitting down. We re not meant to be sedentary creatures, and prolonged sitting can result in back pain and muscular skeletal disorders (MSDs). The good news is that setting up an ergonomic workstation doesn t have to be complicated and it s inexpensive compared to managing lost productivity. Unfortunately, what most people don t know and don t take the time to learn is how to adjust their chair so it fits them properly. Iris Sokol, certified ergonomist and health and wellness explains how to sit fit. visit allseating.com/ergonomics/articles for more tips and insights for sitting fit and being at your best! 4 ALSEATING NATIONAL STANDING OFFER 5

7 ROTARY CONFERENCE CHAIRS Our conference solutions are designed to intuitively support multiple users and make the boardroom look and feel anything but boring. CONFERENCE Conference seating may seem straightforward, but there s still an opportunity to sit fit. 1. Support your back Make sure that your hips are pushed as far back in the chair as they can go, while actively making an effort to sit straight, yet comfortably and relaxed. By keeping your spine supported by the chair, your ribs can move more freely making breathing easier and keeping your energy up! 3. Look forward, not down Confidence in the boardroom is not just good for your career; it s good for your health! Maintaining eye contact with your colleagues keeps your neck in a more natural position and reduces strain on your back. 2. Firm feet on the floor Create a solid support beneath each of your legs. Crossing your legs may feel comfortable, but it can cut off the circulation and strain your hips. 12 ALSEATING NATIONAL STANDING OFFER 13
8 Make an impression The goal of conference seating is to make a statement, inspire engagement, and solve challenges collaboratively. 9 SIDE One of the most valuable lessons you can learn is how to sit fit even in temporary settings. IDE A guest or stacking chair may seem simple, but there are many ways you can sit actively to keep your body and mind engaged. The best thing to do to stay productive during the day is to stretch after every hour of sitting. Here are a few easy arm stretches from ergonomist Iris Sokol that you can do to stay active in your chair. visit allseating.com/ergonomics for more tips and insights for sitting fit and being at your best! 16 ALSEATING NATIONAL STANDING OFFER 17
