Here are some of the responses: o I would recommend screening and getting the top two business - don't just let anyone open a shop. Also make sure it looks more like a doctor office than a liquor store. o Only cannabis business that directly a result in tax benefit should be allowed o how will selling cannabis effect the image of our City o whether you like it or not, people here grow it or buy it.tax o I am strongly opposed to selling Cannabis in Benicia. There are many negative factors involved with this decision but most importantly is safety and keeping our small town as idealistic as possible in today's world. This is a family oriented community and fairly safe. Let's please keep it that way. There has to be other ways, less detrimental to our community, to raise revenue. Safety should not be compromised for revenue...ever!
