7 Endurance Pack Hydration, Cooling, and Bladder Relief Hydration Dehydration adversly affects the performance of individuals, leading to mistakes and mishaps. The Endurance Pack contains a thermally insulated liquid reservoir that can old three liters of drinking water. The reservoir is worn underneath the disposable gown, and the drinking tube can be accessed within the face shield and respirator for hands free hydration. No removal of clothing or use of hands is required. Cooling The most efficient method for cooling the human body is to provide direct body core cooling. By filling the Endurance Pack s three liter reservoir with ice and water, drinking the ice water provides effective body core cooling. Additionally, the user is cooled by the presence of the reservoir on the back. 9 Closed System Field Catheter Kit CSFC Closed System Catheter Set - A4353 The Closed System Field Catheter (CSFC) Kit is a closed system bladder collection solution, which provides accurate urine collection documentation and reduces the risk of infection. The ennvronmental seal ensures protection in a battlefield or austere environment when CASEVACs or Medevacs are delayed or planned to take over 24 hours to reach the next echelon of care.
