20 Follow-on Regulation Micro-criteria (2073/2005) Salmonella criteria

21 Follow-on Regulation Allergen legislation Some of the allergens have little relevance in the Irish population - effect populations within other member states. Allergies to mustard & celery are common in some parts of Europe, both are rare in Ireland and the UK. Other food allergens have increasing significance across Europe. Overall in Europe, hazelnut and apple are the most common triggers of food allergy. In Mediterranean areas, peach and melon allergies are common. Iceland has a high incidence of fish allergy (EuroPrevall 2009).
