6 DOBOL UPSILON ANT GEL BAIT >>> PRODUCT DESCRIPTION >>> BENEFITS Within an increasingly complex regulatory environment and confronted to more and more demanding users, Kwizda Biocides offers its new and innovative solution: DOBOL UPSILON ANT GEL BAIT After two years of research in close collaboration with acknowledged laboratories, private and public institutes and specialized strategic partners, DOBOL UPSILON has emerged as the future answer to ant infestation problems. DOBOL UPSILON is formulated with Acetamiprid, an active ingredient whose efficiency by ingestion is well established. DOBOL UPSILON is a very attractive and palatable gel. Ants consume it and bring it back to the anthill thanks to the Acetamiprid s slight delayed effect. The nest is thus quickly contaminated and eradicated in a few days. DOBOL UPSILON s main advantage is its ability to be spread quickly throughout the colony before it starts to kill. Furthermore, DOBOL UPSILON does not dry, nor crystallize, has a perfect viscosity and remains bio-available for several weeks, even when applied on a porous or vertical surface. DOBOL UPSILON does not stain and does not react with treated surfaces. Natural honey is combined with an aroma specially developed to excite the sensory organs of ants, giving DOBOL UPSILON an incredible attractiveness with an exceptional palatability. Each component and its concentration were carefully selected in order to guarantee product safety for humans and the environment resulting in DOBOL UPSILON not being classified. ENHANCED ATTRACTIVENESS A sweetened base is the key of a good ant gel. We have conducted studies to determine the best type of sugar and the optimal proportion of water to develop a gel formulation as appealing as possible for ants. With honey diluted at 50 % rate, we obtain the best attractiveness even after 15 days of drying. 7 A REVOLUTIONARY AROMA: THE RID15 Field trials against black ants, Lasius niger. Ant baits are most often used in a highly competitive food environment. In addition to a sweetened attractive base, Kwizda Biocides selected a powerful aroma which is able not only to divert ants from other potential sources of food but also to trigger a strong and lasting addiction.
