8 The Vacarrier System The Vacarrier Blood Collection System is a closed evacuated system, which consist of a sterile double-ended needle with safety valve, The Vacarrier One- Use holder and a sterile The Vacarrier Evacuated Blood Collection Tube with predetermined draw. The majority of Vacarrier Blood Collection Tubes are made of clear latex-free (Polyethylene Terephthalate) which is shatter- ressistant and offers a clinically tested, safer alternative to glass. 1 Entry into the vein zone should be sterile and tourniquet should be connected. 2 Visually check the sterility seal on the needle. Twist and remove white cap. 3 Entry to vein with 10 or 20 degree. 4 Wait for tube vacuum taking blood. 5 Resolve the tourniquet. 6 Pull the neddle from vein slowly. 7 Pull the tube from holder. 8 The blood is ready and finished the taking blood. 8

20 Vacarrier Blood Collection Needles Blood collection injections are gently injected to the vein by reducing the friction thanks to its silicone coating. Three types are available, i.e.; 20 G yellow, 21 G green, 22 G black. In addition to this, 21 G and 22 G injections are available, which provide great convenience when dealing with veins that are hard to be detected. Thanks to these injections, the operation of blood collection can be performed in safe since it will be visually acknowledged that the injection is in the vein.
