Twenty-seven legs from twenty-seven healthy volunteers were bandaged with three bandage methods on three different days. Interface pressure at sitting position and at standing position was obtained at B1. Though, its methods and theories were often discussed based on clinical observations and not on objective studies. We introduced recent findings about compression therapy using compression bandages and our experimental studies. To prevent pressure loss, bandages should be multi-layered. Cohesive bandages might be a little helpful at the thigh. Including long-stretch bandages into one of the layers is also effective to prevent the pressure loss, but they should be applied carefully in order not to produce too much pressure.
