Did clinical rotations in the department of medicine where I was involved in patient care by attending daily rounds, taking patient history, performing general and systemic physical examination, typing patient notes and giving inputs for treatment 2 nd August st August 2010: 60 ST Francis MEDICAL CENTER Hartford Connecticut: OBSERVER under the supervision of Dr Bimalin Lahiri. I had the opportunity for in-depth learning about problems related to pulmonary medicine. The primary activity involved the participation in daily rounds with attending physicians, postdoctoral fellows and residents on service. During my posting I observed procedures like thoracocentesis, bronchoscopy, taking arterial blood gases, setting up intra venous line etc. I attended pulmonary clinics at St. Francis Hospital, where there were several new and as well as follow up cases.
