This course takes place in the hospital or clinical setting. Students will be exposed to scanning protocols of the breast, thyroid, scrotum and vascular imaging. Advanced scanning techniques includes clinical experience in the ultrasound department. Advance recognition of disease process, pathology, scanning protocols and ability to perform procedures under indirect supervision is included in the course.
