2 1- General Information: Program on which the course is given: Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Departments: Medicine Course Title& Code: Radiology Total Hours: Physics & anatomy lectures: 12hrs, Lectures: 8hrs/ wk. [32hrs], & tutorials & cases review: 16 hrs. / wk. (56 hrs.). Course duration: 4 weeks [4 holidays + final day (monthly exam)] 2- Course Objectives: The goal of the undergraduate training in general is to provide such knowledge, skills and behavioral attribute that may enable the graduating SHO to interpretation of basic radiological studies, understanding the role of imaging in common conditions & emergencies conditions. 3- Course ILOs (Knowledge & Skills): A. Knowledge and Understanding: At the end of the course, students should be able to: A1. Describe basic radiological anatomy. A2. Know the goal modality in specific condition. A3. Detect the abnormalities on imaging of different body s system and related findings to clinical management. B. Practical and professional skills: At the end of the course, students should be able to start their upcoming clinical training by: B.1. Recognize normal radiological anatomy. B.2. Be able to analyze & identify the indication of various radiological procedures. B.3. Detect the common abnormal findings in radiological procedures of different body systems. B.4.
