Durham University, 2011 I make an effort to review a paper for each time someone has reviewed a paper on which I am first author. I have reviewed manuscripts for PNAS, Proceedings of the Royal Society B, Current Anthropology, Cognitive Science, Biology Letters, Animal Behavior, Human Nature, Evolution and Human Behavior, and PLOS ONE. I have developed the following courses: 1. Bones, Stones and Human Evolution. An online course introducing students to evolutionary anthropology. Topics covered include evolutionary theory, genetics, cultural inheritance, human evolution and gene-culture coevolution. Course will debut Fall, Bayesian Statistics: Theory and Practice. An in-person course teaching final year undergraduates and Ph.D. students how to perform Bayesian analyses using MCMC methods in R, JAGS and STAN. In addition, it covers the theoretical underpinnings of Bayesian probability theory. Course will debut Spring
5 I have served as a guest lecturer on several other courses, topics include evolutionary theory, cultural evolution, evolutionary developmental biology and a guide to finding a job in academia. I have tutored groups of 5-10 undergraduates for a range of courses covering all years of undergraduate study. Topics include evolutionary biology, physics, history, art history, politics and philosophy. I have supervised research projects carried by undergraduates, graduate students, and as of September 2017 I will begin supervising a team of three postdoctoral researchers Associate Researcher, St Leonard's School, St Andrews. A paid position with the goal of educating final year high school students about current research, academic methodologies and university life. Duties include giving lectures to final year students and being available to the School as a point-person from the University Royal Society 350 th Anniversary Science Expo, South Bank Centre, London. A large-scale event in London for visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Many visitors had relevant knowledge and came to be made aware of recent research Dundee Science Expo. A large event focusing on young children Public event at Sensation Science Centre, Dundee. A museum event for families with young children assuming no relevant knowledge.
