March Dec 2014 Director of Clinical Research Innovative Neurotronics (a division of Hanger) Responsibilities: - Administered a 495 subject randomized clinical trial (RCT) comparing the WalkAide Functional Electrical Stimulation (WA-FES) device to AFOs in people with chronic Stroke. -Tracked enrollment, flow and visit compliance of subjects through the study. - Managed the budgeting of payments to sites and Primary Investigators. - Managed the master data base and tracked all subjects at each site to document completed or missed visits. - Served as the interface between the sponsor and the Principal Investigator and all site Primary Investigators. - Served as study liaison to the Clinical Events Committee and assured that all undiscussed site and/or subject issues were included in the agenda for meetings. - Contributed to coordination and scheduling of site audits and maintained audit reports. - Performed research site audits at Texas study sites. - Developed and coordinated internal and external research studies regarding the effects of WA-FES on neurological gait in people with MS. - Developed protocols, case report forms and IRB submissions. - Maintained subject data bases. - Coordinated subject enrollment and data collection - Developed statistical analysis and publication plans.
