It covers 700 textbooks and 400 top medical journals, including The Lancet, plus expert commentary, videos, images, MEDLINE abstractss and selected third-party journals. An NHS Athens account is required for access. 3 UpToDate UpToDate is specifically designed to answer the clinical questions that arise in daily practice and to do so quickly and easily so that it can be used right at the point of care. The published evidence is summarized and specific recommendations made for homepage. patient care.acces ss via the Trust Intranet NHS Evidence Managed by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), this site enables access to authoritative clinical and non-clinical evidence and best practice through a web-based portal. Includes access to the British National Formulary, NICE guidance and much more.
