Pregnant or not? Patient Diagnostics Family Planning Quick Tests
The unique family planning tests for use at home Ovulation Test Early Pregnancy Test Pregnancy Test Do you want clarity concerning your pregnancy? For a pregnancy test you have a choice between the new Patient Diagnostics Early Test, which can already bring certainty approx. ten days after insemination, or the pregnancy test, which fulfils all the requirements for a high-quality pregnancy test. Do you long for a child? Then the ovulation test, which indicates a woman s fertile days, will help you. All Patient Diagnostics Tests are easy to use and quick to carry out. That is why even unpractised users can achieve a result. Strict criteria in the production process and ongoing quality checks by independent testing agencies guarantee you optimum safety and reliability. All tests from Patient Diagnostics have been awarded the CE certificate for the entire EU area. Where can I get the family planning tests? All the products listed here can be ordered simply and conveniently at Note: As described in the test instructions, please consult a doctor if the test result makes this appropriate.
Ovulation Test What can you find out with the test? The fertility test identifies the time of ovulation and therefore the days upon which the woman is fertile. Before ovulation, the hlh concentration in the urine increases and shows you that insemination is possible in approx. 24 hours. Which hormone is measured? The hormone hlh (human luteinising hormone) increases to up to 200 IU/L (International Units per Litre) before each ovulation and then sinks back down again. The maximum is reached approx. 24 hours before ovulation and is therefore used as an early indicator for the start of the fertile days. How is the test carried out? The test stick is held directly in the urine stream for approx. three seconds, after which it is laid on the film packaging. The result is read after 5 minutes. The five test sticks in the test pack should be used on five consecutive days. The period during which the test is carried out can be determined optimally by using the enclosed disc. What does the result tell you? The upper line (control line) shows you that the test has been carried out correctly. If two lines appear and the upper line (control line) is stronger than the lower one, the fertile days have not yet arrived. Only when both lines are equally strong, or the lower test line is stronger, have you reached the phase of the fertile days.
Early Pregnancy Test What can you find out with the test? With the early pregnancy test you can have certainty about a possible pregnancy even earlier than with a normal test. The test already shows an hcg concentration of 12 IU/L and is therefore suitable for use even before the periods stop (about ten days after sexual intercourse). The hcg level in the urine of women who are healthy and not pregnant lies between 0 to 10 IU/L (International Units per Litre). In the case of a pregnancy, the hcg concentration already starts to rise in the first few days after impregnation. Which hormone is measured? hcg (human choriongonadotropine) is the most important pregnancy hormone. The hcg level starts to rise straight after insemination and continues to increase afterwards. The hcg level doubles every two to three days and thus leads to a constant increase in levels in the urine. Up to the 10th week of pregnancy, the hcg level reaches values of up to 230,000 IU/L. After the birth, the hcg concentration falls rapidly and reaches normal values within a few weeks. How is the test carried out? The test stick is held directly in the urine stream for approx. three seconds, and then laid on the film packaging. The result is read after 5 minutes. What does the result tell you? If there are two lines in the results field you can assume that you are pregnant even if the lower line appears weakly. If only one line is visible, you have carried out the test correctly, but you are not pregnant.
Pregnancy Test What can you find out with the test? The Patient Diagnostics pregnancy test meets all requirements of a high-quality pregnancy test. This simple and reliable test shows you whether or not there is an hcg concentration higher than 25 IU/L in the urine. The test can thus be used from the first day after periods have stopped. The pregnancy test is the first in the German-speaking countries to be awarded the CE 0483 designation. Which hormone is measured? hcg (human choriongonadotropine) is the most important pregnancy hormone. The hcg level in the urine of women who are healthy and not pregnant lies between 0 to 10 IU/L (International Units per Litre). In the case of a pregnancy, the hcg concentration already begins to increase in the first few days after insemination. Up to the 10th week of pregnancy, the hcg level reaches values of up to 130,000 IU/L. The hcg concentration falls rapidly after the birth and reaches normal values within a few weeks. That is why hcg is very well suited to diagnosing pregnancy. The limit value indicating pregnancy is > 10 IU/L. How is the test carried out? The test stick is held directly in the urine stream for approx. three seconds. Alternatively, a beaker can also be used to collect the urine and the test stick can be dipped in this for three seconds. Afterwards, the test is laid on the film packaging, and the result is read after 5 minutes. What does the result tell you? If there are two lines in the results field you can assume that you are pregnant. If only one line is visible, you have carried out the test correctly, but you are not pregnant.
