5 ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF STEVENS POINT, WISCONSIN The Common Council of the City of Stevens Point do ordain as follows: SECTION I: That subsection 6 of Section of the Revised Municipal Code, Discharging Firearm/Gun/Archery Arrow is hereby created to read as follows: 24.14(6) The provisions in subsection (1) shall not apply to any person discharging an archery arrow for purposes of hunting, provided that: (a) (b) The arrow is discharged toward the ground from an elevated position; and The person discharging the arrow either does so at least 100 yards from all buildings located on land owned by another person, or obtains written permission from such landowners to discharge an arrow less than 100 yards from any building located on land owned by the person providing such written permission. SECTION II: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication, as provided by law. 7 ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF STEVENS POINT, WISCONSIN The Common Council of the City of Stevens Point do ordain as follows: SECTION I: That subsection 24.38(1)(d) of the Revised Municipal Code, Cigarettes and Tobacco Products Minors, is hereby created to read as follows: (1) In this section: (d) Nicotine product has the meaning given in section (1)(f), Wisconsin Statutes. SECTION II: That subsection 24.38(2) of the Revised Municipal Code, Cigarettes and Tobacco Products Minors, is hereby modified to read as follows: (2) Except as provided in subsection (3), no person under 18 years of age may do any of the following: (a) Buy or attempt to buy any cigarette, tobacco product, or nicotine product. (b) Falsely represent his or her age for the purpose of receiving any cigarette, tobacco product, or nicotine product. (c) Possess any cigarette, tobacco product, or nicotine product. SECTION III: That subsection 24.38(3) of the Revised Municipal Code, Cigarettes and Tobacco Products Minors, is hereby modified to read as follows: (3) A person under 18 years of age may purchase or possess cigarettes, tobacco products, and/or nicotine products for the sole purpose of resale in the course of employment during his or her working hours if employed by a retailer licensed under section (1), Wisconsin Statutes. SECTION IV: That subsection 24.38(4) of the Revised Municipal Code, Cigarettes and Tobacco Products Minors, is hereby modified to read as follows: (4) A law enforcement officer shall seize any cigarette, tobacco product, or nicotine product involved in any violation of subsection (2) committed in his or her presence.
