12 Smoke and Tobacco Free Policy For The Health Of It Rationale for Change All state owned properties are to become tobacco free on or before December 31, 2014 per Governor Kitzhaber s Executive Order Improve health and wellness of students, employees, and visitors More than 22 percent of all deaths can be attributed to tobacco use (Oregon's Tobacco-free State Properties, 2012) 12

Survey was available online November o We asked participants to verify that: they were over the age of 18 they were a member of the University of Idaho Community they only took the survey once The online survey was marketed through flat screen ads in the Student Rec Center & Commons, a banner in the commons, several posters around campus, and word of mouth. 19
