It provides statistical and demographic information, prevalence data, case examples and suggested interventions, treatment guidelines and approaches, and organizational policies and procedures This report focuses on LGBTQ youth who become involved in the commercial sex market to meet basic survival needs, describing their physical, mental, and sexual health issues, their substance use, and their experiences with service providers. It finds that most youth protect themselves from harm in several ways, including using protection against sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy and visiting service providers for health and non-health services. However, most of the youth reported needs that were unmet by service providers, including employment assistance and short- and longterm housing, and youth who reached ages 18 or 21 had even greater challenges accessing services This post card educates the public about the risks of using drugs and contracting and other blood-borne diseases, either through poor judgment and/or infected drug paraphernalia Behaviors associated with drug abuse are one of the largest factors in the spread of HIV infection. This card encourages people to help stop the deadly link between drug abuse and HIV by sending a text message designed to alert friends and family This series of brochures provides facts and dispels myths about substance use. Information is provided on long-term and short-term effects, physical and psychological risks, and legal implications.
