1 Iodine (I) Iodine (I) is an irreplaceable biomineral for the biochemical functions of all living creatures. Iodine is a microelement, part of the thyroid hormones synthesis triiodothyronine and thyroxine which control substances exchanges, regulate the functions and development of the brain, nervous system, sex and mammary glands, and the growth and development of the baby. Iodine deficit leads to increase of the thyroid goitre. Some of the symptoms for improper function of the thyroid gland are: weakness, apathy, depression, aggravation of memory, decrease of hearing abilities, teeth decay, hair-loss, fragile nails, dry skin, torturing headaches, slow of the substances exchange speed and weight gain. Iodine deficit leads to disorders in menstrual cycle, sterility, mastopathia, abrasions and cracking of the nipples. Studies show that additional intake of Iodine has great results in cases of fibrous cyst mastopathia, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids. It activates the exchange of female sex hormones, turning the excessive into a safe non-active form, thus helping the organism to fight some kinds of women cancers of the breasts, uterus, ovaries, thyroid and lungs. It activates men s organism against prostate and testicles cancer. In the first 12 weeks human fetus receives thyroid hormones from the mother and in the 4th month it forms own thyroid gland. Iodine deficit may affect child s hearing, visual memory and speech, may lead to irreversible decrease of brain capacity and even to cretinism. Such children are often ill; they do not develop well, cry a lot and are 1 / 5

2 not balanced. Impeded synthesis of the thyroid hormones affects negatively brain development. Iodine insufficiency in food manifests in the form of low intellectual motivation and inability to study. Iodine may be used as an additional supplement for various conditions:» pregnancy» lack of mood, somnolence, weakness and apathy, lack of appetite, inexplicable sadness, deterioration of memory and attention, sensitiveness to cold, cold limbs, frequent headaches, migraine» heart arrhythmia, increased blood pressure (lower border)» decreased level of hemoglobin in blood, which cannot be treated with Iron» frequents inflammatory and cold diseases, different autoimmune diseases, Candida, asthma, lungs disorders, dermatologic problems, irritable bowel» pains and weakness of the arms, radiculitus, muscle cramps» tumefactions around the eyes and general tumefactions, retaining liquids» radiation The daily amount necessary for an adult is mcg. Processed and excessive Iodine is taken out up to 90% by the kidneys. Lack of Iodine in the organism should be treated with regular additional intake. 2 / 5

3 Iodine drops (water solution) is best absorbed by the organism and its positive effects manifest very quickly.
