2 Invitation Dear Colleagues, It gives us immense pleasure to invite you for Interventional EUS 2015: 4th Mumbai Live EUS course, to be organized on March 26-28, 2015 at Mumbai. In a short span of 3 years, this course has established itself as one of the foremost courses in EUS in the World, and is probably the only course with strong focus on Interventional EUS. We have tried to evolve the course based upon the feedback from the attendees and the Industry. A persistent demand was to introduce elements of basic diagnostic EUS. While the focus of the conference is Interventions, we do realize that a large segment of EUS trainees need basic training. Keeping this in mind, we have expanded the conference duration to allow a day for diagnostic EUS, without reducing the course emphasis on interventions. We have also expanded the number of hands on training sessions and their duration, in keeping with persistent requests from attendees. Thus we have an expanded 3 day program covering all aspects of EUS. Day 1 is for diagnostic EUS and FNA, and hands on training sessions in basic radial and linear EUS and EUS-FNA. The mood turns interventional by evening itself with a live transmission from Florida Hospital, Orlando, USA by Prof Robert Hawes and Shyam Varadarajulu. Day 2 retains its original flavor with cutting edge EUS interventions being shown live, interspersed with lectures from renowned Experts in the field. Like last year, Dr Ken Binmoeller and his team will transmit live cases in the evening from California USA. Day 3 will have 6 hours of hands on training in interventional EUS. Training will be imparted for EUS-guided biliary drainage, pseudocyst drainage, Gastro-jejunostomy, and radiofrequency ablation. We would request your to register fast for these courses as a limited number of slots are available, both for diagnostic and therapeutic hands on courses. We are fortunate to have some of the most renowned experts in EUS as faculty for this course.
