4 For adults Ddrops 1000 IU & Ddrops 2000 IU Welcome options tasteless and chemical-free!
5 Why Vitamin D... Adequate calcium and vitamin D throughout life, as part of a well-balanced diet, may reduce the risk of osteoporosis. 1 Vitamin D plays an important role in the maintenance of healthy teeth, bones and optimal muscle strength. 2 Sunlight is a natural source of vitamin D, but many people find it difficult to get enough direct sun exposure consistently and safely. 3 The following groups of people may not be getting enough vitamin D: Those with increased vitamin needs during periods of rapid growth such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, infancy, childhood and adolescence. Those with little exposure to sunlight or who wear concealing clothing. Those with darker skin (as it takes longer for vitamin D to be made from darker pigmented skin). Those who are obese (researchers suspect that vitamin D may be restricted in fat tissue). Some health conditions raise the risk of having levels of vitamin D. The Endocrine Society includes the following: 4 Osteoporosis Chronic (long-term) kidney or liver disease Hyperparathyroidism (too much of a hormone that controls the body s calcium level) Some medicines can affect how the body processes vitamin D Frequent falls in older adults, or a non-traumatic fracture (bone break without a major injury) in any age group
6 Parents...looking for just pure vitamin D? Ddrops Booster 600 IU Vitamin D for Children? Vitamin D is essential during normal (or healthy) periods of rapid growth, like infancy, childhood and adolescence. 5 Healthy development of bones and teeth, and maintaining good overall health all involve vitamin D. 6 A recent study has been an eye-opener for many parents the study revealed that 70% of children and adolescents are not getting enough vitamin D. 7 Another nutrition study 8 found more then one third of children taking a vitamin supplement still did not receive enough vitamin D and calcium. The recommendations from the Institute of Medicine identify a daily dose of 600 IU for children above 1 year of age. 9
7 How to use With Infants... Just one purified drop of Baby Ddrops contains 400 IU of vitamin D3 - the daily recommended dose without any chemicals or additives. Simply place just one drop of Baby Ddrops on a clean surface such as a fingertip or mother s nipple, and allow the baby to suck. With no taste or odor, the tiny drop goes in unnoticed. What could be easier? NOTE: this is NOT dispensed as 1 ml with an eyedropper as other liquid vitamins, but it is administered as just one drop or 0.03 ml. For Children... Just one purified drop of Ddrops Booster contains 600 IU of vitamin D3, without any chemicals or additives. Avoid messy liquids, sugary gummies or swallowing pills by simply placing one drop onto any favorite food or drink! For Adults... Ddrops 1000 IU or Ddrops 2000 IU are excellent options for people who are looking for pure vitamin D without chemicals or additives. Just one drop onto any food, or licked off a clean surface is an easy way to get your daily dose. Remember... Always keep, read and follow instructions on the label. Consult with your healthcare practitioner to discuss an individual approach with dietary supplements. The FDA has not evaluated the statements in this pamphlet. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any diseases.
