Blends: * 3 parts Lavender, 2 parts Cedarwood, 1 part Patchouli * 3 parts Lavender, 1 part Geranium, 1 part Patchouli * 3 parts Geranium, 2 parts Sweet Marjoram, 1 part Cedarwood * 3 parts Lavender, 1 part Lemon Eucalyptus, 1 part Patchouli * 3 parts Ginger, 2 parts Petitgrain, 1 part Patchouli * 3 parts Lavender, 1 part Petitgrain, 1 part Cedarwood * 2 parts Lavender, 1 part Ginger, 1 part Cedarwood * 6 parts Lavender, 1 part Helichrysum, 1 part Patchouli 2. 5 G. How to Calculate Your EO Blend 1. 2% EO in total carrier formula 2. So we need 98% carrier and 2% EO 3. In a 10 oz product, we need 9.8 oz carrier with.20 oz EO 4. Convert ounces to grams:.20 oz = 5.67 grams Round this up to 5.7 grams 5. Next, we need to add up how many parts are in our EO blend. As an example, in the following blend (3 parts Lavender, 2 parts Cedarwood, 1 part Patchouli) there are 6 parts. 6. So now we take 5.7 grams (our total EO) and divide it by =.95 grams for each part 7. For Lavender that means 3 x.95 grams = 2.85 grams For Cedarwood that means 2 x.95 grams = 1.9 grams For Patchouli that means 1 x.95 grams -.95 grams 8. Add those three amounts together and you have your 2% EO blend for your 10 oz product
