8 N4i Assembly Instructions Follow these steps to assemble N4i Station: 1). Determine the width of the two Floor Stand Base Feet relative to the cardio equipment base, as shown. Attach the two Floor Stand Base Feet to Floor Stand Base Weldment using four Socket Head Screws (1/4-20 x 7/8). 8

Slide the Power Supply Bracket over the base weldment tube of the Floor Stand Base Weldment, as shown. 4).

9 2). Attach the Base Cable Chase Extrusion to both sides of the Floor Stand Base Weldment and secure with two Socket Head Screws (1/4-20 x 5/8), as shown. 3). Slide the Power Supply Bracket over the base weldment tube of the Floor Stand Base Weldment, as shown. 4). Slide the Lower Floor Stand Vertical Tube onto the Floor Stand Base Weldment tube and align the cables access holes, as shown. Insert and hand-tighten two Pan Head Machine screws (1/4-20 x ½), but do not tighten at this time. 9

Slide the Computer Rear Shield all the way down the Floor Stand Vertical Tube for now to keep it out of the way until you are to attach in a later step. 11

12 4). Attach Computer Power Cable to Computer Power Extender Cable, as shown. N4i Final Assembly 1). Assemble Computer Mount Adapter Plate to Tilt box using the four Socket Head Screws (1/4-20 x ½). Completed assembly is shown above. 12

2). Attach Computer Rear Bracket to back of N4i

Attach computer mount/tilt box assembly you assembled in step 1 to the Computer Rear Bracket and secure with four Phillips head screws (8/32 x 5/8). 3). Slide computer mount/tilt box assembly onto Upper Floor Stand Vertical Tube and route cables (power, coax, catt5) out the bottom as shown in picture above. Secure with two Pan Head Machine screws (1/4-20 x ¼). 13

14 4). Connect the TV Coax Cable, Cat5 Cable, (for wired stations only), and Computer Power Cable to the connections on the back of N4i Computer. 5). Adjust the height of the N4i screen by sliding the Upper Floor Stand Vertical Tube up or down to the desired location and securing with two Pan Head Machine screws (1/4-20 x ½). 14

15 6). Adjust screen to appropriate viewing angle by first loosening the Socket Head Screws on the computer mount/tilt box assembly and then tightening in place. 7). For wired installs, skip to step 13. For wireless installs attach a piece of Velcro on the inside of Computer Rear Shield, as shown. 15

8). Attach another piece of Velcro to Wireless

Attach wireless adapter to inside of Computer Rear Shield (using Velcro attached earlier). Place antenna through hole as shown in picture above. Slide Computer Rear Shield up the Floor Stand Vertical Tube and plug the free end of the USB Cable into the Wireless Adapter. 16

For wired installs, slide Computer Rear Shield up the Floor Stand Vertical Tube and secure to Computer Rear Bracket using two Phillips head screws (5/32 x 1 3/8). 17

Wrap excess cable around bottom of Floor Stand Base Weldment tube so power supply and cables can be cover by Floor Stand Base Cover.

18 14). Insert four Socket Set Screws (5mm x 8mm) into Lower Vertical Tube (3) and computer mount/tilt box assembly (1) then tighten. 15). Place power supply at base of Floor Stand Base Cover as shown above. Wrap excess cable around bottom of Floor Stand Base Weldment tube so power supply and cables can be cover by Floor Stand Base Cover. 16). Feed cables through Base Cable Chase Extrusion (feed through the side closest to cable sources). 17). Connect cables (coax, power, cat5 if wired install) to their respective sources. 18

19 18). Place the Base End Cap on the Floor Stand Base Cover as shown above (this end will not have cables fed through). Secure with two Socket Head Screws (1/4-20 x 5/8). 19). Install Base Cable Chase Cover into slot on top of Base Cable Chase Extrusion. Repeat for each side. 19

20). Attach Floor Stand Base Cover and secure with four Socket

21 2). Place Rubber Sleeve on Lower Floor Stand Vertical Tube and make sure it lines up with cardio equipment, then attach Stabilizer Bracket and secure using Pan Head Machine screw (1/4-20 x ½) and flat washer and (¼ ). 21

3). Feed Velcro strap inside short tube as shown above.

Secure Stabilizer Bar to Lower Vertical Stand Tube using Velcro strap. 22

23 5). Feed Velcro strap inside long tube as shown above (refer to picture in step 3). Make sure Velcro is pushed in past the hole on Stabilizer Bar. Feed Socket Head Screw (1/4-20 x 1 3/8) down hole and secure on bottom with washer (1/4 ) and hex nut (1/4-20). 6). Place Rubber Sleeve between Stabilizer Bar and cardio equipment as shown. Secure Stabilizer Bar to cardio equipment using Velcro Strap. 23

Turn on the power to the Netpulse N4i Computer.

24 PC Configuration Instructions The Netpulse N4i will boot up to Installation Wizard the first time it powers up. 1). Make sure all cables are connected to their respective sources. Turn on the power to the Netpulse N4i Computer. The power button is located on the bottom of the N4i Computer, as shown. 2). After about 20 seconds, the screen above will appear. If all lights are green touch the Next button, if not call MYE Entertainment at

This process will take 1-2 minutes. 4). When the TV scan is complete touch the OK button.

25 3). Select the TV Source from the list by touching the drop down arrow and touch Cable or Antenna to select. Then touch Scan. The N4i will discover all the TV stations available on that source. This process will take 1-2 minutes. 4). When the TV scan is complete touch the OK button. Now scroll through the list of discovered channels to verify that each one comes in clearly. If not, delete it by touching the Deleted button. When you are done, touch the Next button. 25

26 5). Touch the Finish button to complete the configuration. The N4i Station will restart itself a few times as it completes its configuration and then return to the Netpulse attract screen. 6). When the N4i returns to Netpulse attract screen configuration is complete. It s a good idea to do a quick test to make sure everything is working properly (see below). 26

27 Quick Test Procedures: Verify you get sound when watching TV: 1. Log into Netpulse as a guest user. 2. Plug in headphones. 3. Select Watch TV from the Menu. 4. Scroll through a few channels and verify you have sound. Also make sure you can adjust volume up and down. Verify the Internet is working: 1. Touch the menu button and select Surf the Web. 2. Select any of the web links and verify it takes you to the one you selected. 3. Touch the URL and type yahoo.com and touch GO button. You should see the Yahoo home page. 27
