8 Theme: Strengthening Partnerships for Malaria Control in the Community Purpose: 1. Strengthen the technical capacity of NGOs to increase the effectiveness of interventions for malaria in the community. 2. Strengthen the national forum of partners to ensure effective and coordinated implementation of malaria control in the community.
9 Workshop Objectives 1. Assess the degree of implementation of the National Strategic Plan for Malaria Control in Angola against the guidelines of the Roll Back Malaria Initiative. 2. Update the strategic actions to accelerate the prevention and control of malaria in communities. 3. Reviewing the strategies for implementation in the areas of prevention and control of malaria in the community, identify gaps in coverage of services propose an action plan to overcome them. 4. Provide the exchange of experiences between the activities undertaken by the partners of the National Partners Forum in Angola and activities at international level by international experts. 5. Report on the progress and challenges of the National Malaria Partners Forum for partners to fight malaria in Angola at the community level. 6. Election of new management members and the Executive Secretary.
