2 Sympta Solutions Platform Medicare and most private commercial insurance plans have embraced preventative and precision medicine with comprehensive wellness programs. Sympta has a new preventative care software platform for physicians within these groups that incorporates wellness programs to accommodate this new movement of healthcare quality over quantity. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has numerous preventative care and wellness program provisions that help physicians produce better patient care with significantly increased physician reimbursement. In addition, reporting requirements for new sweeping Medicare reimbursement laws (Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of MACRA) are set to start in January Sympta s new software platform is the scientific tool that physicians need for bringing the new ACA and MACRA programs together. Further, since most private commercial health insurance plans have adopted the ACA s preventative care initiatives, the Sympta software platform is ideal for Medicare (fee-for-service and ACOs) and private commercial insurance plans without risk, obligation, or additional costs to the physicians. a symbol for wellness. 11 Food Allergy Test & Food Intolerance Test To identify the root cause of a patient's food allergy symptoms, Sympta tests the patient using a skin scratch/prick test (percutaneous). In this test a tiny drop of diluted allergen applied on the surface of the skin. We also perform Specific IgE blood testing (RAST). Latex, Metals, Chemicals, Venom, Drugs, & Biologics When testing for latex, metals, and chemicals, Sympta administers a patch test where tiny quantities of 25 to 150 materials (allergens) in individual square chambers are applied to the upper back. For venom allergy testing we perform blood testing, skin scratch/prick testing, and Intradermal testing. a symbol for wellness. Page 11
12 Environmental Environmental Allergy Test Allergy Test Environmental allergens are the most common and include substances such as dust mites, mold spores, animal dander, cockroaches, irritants such as smoke, and pollen. We test for these allergens using a skin prick/scratch test (percutaneous), Intradermal test, and blood testing to identify the source of the problem. Immunotherapy Immunotherapy ("allergy shots") is a form of preventive and anti-inflammatory treatment of allergy to substances such as pollens, house dust mites, fungi, and stinging insect venom. Immunotherapy involves giving gradually increasing doses of the substance, or allergen, to which the person is allergic. a symbol for wellness. Page 12
