This problem-centred unit prepares students to evaluate individualised approaches to case management associated with the challenges of progressive disease states. This subject addresses long term management of chronic disease and the need for appropriate diagnostic, lesional and pathological treatment strategies. Compare empirical and evidence-based literature describing homeopathic case management in clients with disorders of the endocrine, cardiovascular, haematological and nervous systems Compare empirical and evidence-based literature describing homeopathic case management in clients with mental health disorders and specific male, female, paediatric and geriatric health problems. Plan and implement appropriate homeopathic treatment strategies for clients with disorders of the endocrine, cardiovascular, haematological and nervous systems. Mental health disorders and specific male, female, paediatric and geriatric health conditions will be considered. 4. Organise an appropriate referral where applicable, for further assessment and treatment in the various conditions discussed. 5. Evaluate the principles of Homoeoprophylaxis in practice. 6. Discuss homeopathic posology with respect to conditions covered to consider possible interactions with pharmaceutical agents. 7. Interpret the progression of the case and determine the possibility of homeopathic palliation in disorders of the endocrine, cardiovascular, haematological and nervous systems, as well as in mental health disorders and specific male, female, paediatric and geriatric health conditions. 8. Identify and develop strategies for the negotiated removal of maintaining causes and obstacles to recovery for a patient undergoing homeopathic treatment. 9.
