2 Dear Sir/Madam, We feel honoured to invite you and your colleagues to WCABHU-2019 at Banaras Hindu University, a premier institution of the country. It was founded by Bharat Ratna Pt Madan Mohan Malviya ji in 1916, under Parliamentary legislation - B.H.U. Act 1915 and funded by Central Govt of India. BHU is the largest campus-university of Asia. The University comprises of 6 Institutes, 14 Faculties, 140 Departments, 4 Inter disciplinary Centers, a constituent college for women, 3 Schools and Four afliated Degree Colleges. It has 40,000 students and 3,000 teachers. The journey of health education started at BHU, as an Ayurvedic unit in Faculty of Oriental learning and Sanskrit in 1919, followed by an Ayurvedic college in 1927, PGIIM in 1963 and now as Faculty of Ayurveda under Institute of Medical Sciences. It carries teaching and research at International level and hospital services to northern India, covering more than 20 crores of Indian population. BHU is an expert driven Institution in eld of Ayurveda with basic aim is to develop ancient knowledge with contemporary Modern Medicine along with other Biological and Earth Sciences. The focal theme of WCABHU-2019 is to "Develop evidence based Ayurvedic medicines and procedures. It will bring the latest improvements in fast-moving areas of health care, covering all aspects of theory, research and application to develop new potential outcome in health care, early diagnosis, awareness for preventive measures and combined therapy by psychosomatic modulation and medicine. This will give an opportunity to interact with experts from nursing, nutritionists and yogic practices along with basic biological-scientists and doctors of Allopathic system of medicine. The scientic programme has been designed to encourage translational research for expanding the horizon of knowledge in medical biology to develop new drugs, better procedures, sound understanding of pathogenesis, novel targets for therapy and many more aspects towards holistic approach of health management. It is aimed to cover the basic concepts of Ayurveda, Allopathy, Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy along with Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM), Tibeten medicine and Campo medicine of Japan to develop a strong base with common terminology to fulll the aims and objectives of World Health Organization (WHO) for "health for all". Besides the medicines, the role of life style, diet, mental-health, spirituality and procedures in health care will be discussed. All the proposed sessions will accommodate literary, basic and clinical researches in form of guest lectures, panel discussions, oral and poster presentations. The selected papers will be published in proceedings as ISBN numbered book. We are also organizing an exhibition "AYUSHMAN INDIA EXPO-2019". It will showcase various aspect of Health care, Wellness, Industrial inputs, plants cultivation, Life style products, with an aim to bring awareness and also to educate for better business opportunities which is in association with People's Foundation. Further, A student oriented Associate Event namely 'AYUSH PRAGYA' is also being organized at the same time Besides Science, we shall also take care about the tourism and spiritual aspect of participants. The Kashi is the oldest living city of the world, the dome Lord Shiva having temple of Kashi- Vishwanath, one of 12 Jyotirlinga. Here, River Ganges ows in North direction (Uttarvahini). The Sarnath, a prominent place for Buddhism is in Varanasi, where Lord Buddha gave the 1st preaching to his 5 disciples, who spread it all over the world. The Kashi has been a prominent seat of learning and spirituality since ages. Lord Dhanwantari preached the science of Health and Maharshi Charak and Sushruta documented this knowledge. It is said that staying in Kashi or taking a dip in river Ganga, washes off all the sins of life and strengthens the path of salvation (liberation of Atma from the "vicious cycle of life and death" i.e Moksha). The Kashi has been the seat of classical music and dance where traditional Gharana are still active and involved in musical performances. Varanasi has also been identied as a place for International Health tourism and a business 0 hub by the Govt of India. The season of Varanasi, in March, will be pleasant with moderate temperature of 25 C without any humidity. You will be enjoying this trip, by hybridizing learning, spirituality and tourism. 10 Guidelines for submission of abstract The abstracts are invited in the areas covered in the conference. The contents of abstract should include background, objectives, methods, results and conclusions. The title should be in capital and in bold followed by name of authors (with rst name rst, then middle name followed by family name) and their institutional address with address of the corresponding author. Do not append degrees, professional designations, etc to names. The name of presenting author should be underlined. The abstract should be typed using Microsoft Word (Times New Roman, font size 12 and 1.5 pt. spacing between lines, limit 300 words). Abbreviations used in the body of an abstract should be dened at their rst mention in the text. Abstract should be sent preferably through website ; to wcabhu2019@gmail.com Abstract will be considered for presentation, only if they are accompanied by registration fee of presenting author. Normally only one paper th is allowed per author, unless prior permission of organizers is taken. Presenters should be present at the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the session and are expected to stay till the end of the session. Guidelines for poster presentation Posters size should not exceed 4x3 ft (LxB). Presenters should mount their posters in the assigned area at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the session and are expected to be present besides the posters throughout the poster session. Posters should be dismounted immediately after the end of the session. Note Select the area of the presentation from the list given above. 14 About Expo Peoples Foundation is proud to organize AYUSHMAN INDIA EXPO 2019 on the subject of AYUSH in association with the faculty of Ayurveda, Banarash Hindu University from 14th to 16th March The history of medical education in Varanasi, the oldest living city in the world and the cultural capital of India, is at least 2500 years old. It was here that the great Indian Surgeon Sushruta lived and practiced medicine and surgery around the 5th century B.C. and also compiled his treatise, the Sushruta Samhita.
