Box 14502, KSA EDUCATION Oct Jul University of Leicester, UK PhD in Respiratory Science (Paediatric Pulmonary Function Testing), College of Medicine, Biological Sciences and Psychology The broad aim of my project is to obtain annual follow-up lung function measurements including multiple-breath nitrogen washout (MBNW) from school-age children with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and one-set hyperpolarized helium three magnetic resonance ( 3 HeMRI) data in order to determine whether; LCI has a potential value as a discriminating factor of disease progression. The predominant mechanism for ventilation inhomogeneity in school-age children with CF is related to the convection dependent inhomogeneity (CDI or S cond ), or to the diffusion convection dependent inhomogeneity (DCDI or S acin ) and whether this different compared to children with asthma. CLINICAL EXPERIENCE Oct Jan Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester, UK Honorary research scientists at Children s Respiratory Investigation Centre My responsibility was to measure lung function for children with various lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis and asthma using conventional and new lung function methodology such as spirometry, plethysmography, and multiple-breath nitrogen washout test. In addition to help the staff to perform exercise induce asthma test (EIA) for some patients on treadmill and reversibility test after administering bronchodilator.
