Oxygen HOWARD S NEST Ozone has been used successfully in medical practice for over 50 years. Ozone destroys toxins, viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungus and stimulates the immune system, cleans arteries and veins, improves circulation, purifies the blood and lymph, detoxifying cells in the body without harming healthy tissue. Enhanced Performance Enhances immune system Improves energy levels Eliminates Lactic Acid Reduces inflamation and pain Also Massage Therapy (Executive, Sports ) Improved Health De-tox treatment Reduces weight / cellulite Stress relief / migraines Reduces fatigue Skin tone / Acne / Eczema Drug / Alcohol /smoke addiction Boosts the bodies immune system Assists your body to combat life-style diseases such as : Certain cancers Cholesterol, Arthritis Diabetes, Depression Asthma / Allergies

1 INTRODUCTION Oxygen is the single most important nutrient for the body. The body can survive weeks without food, days without water, but only minutes without oxygen. The water in our bodies in itself eight-ninths oxygen by weight; therefore our bodies are composed of over 50% oxygen! (Imagine what our bodies would look like on the inside if the 75% water in our bodies becomes dirty. It would eventually degenerate into a veritable swamp where nothing grows properly.) Poor immunity, constant tiredness, colds and flu s, and low vitality are primarily caused by oxygen starvation. A lack of sufficient oxygen at cellular level is a major cause of poor health and disease. Therefore the best way to optimise health is to oxygenate every cell in your body. Oxidation is central to the metabolic, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, assimilatory and eliminatory processes of the body. Therefore it makes sense to flood your body with oxygen Different Applications of Ozone Ozone is used in many countries in many different applications. The (International Ozone Association), (IOA) list some off the applications as follows: Area 1 Air-conditioning Country O3 Production in kg/hr 3 Dentistry 4 Medicine 5 Pharmaceutical 6 Pools 7 Space research 8 Water (2000 municipalities across the world utilize ozone for water treatment) 1 Russia Canada USA France France Ukraine France 75 8 Singapore 72 9 Finland UK Germany Italy Japan France Spain Netherlands 25

2 OZONE AND YOUR HEALTH Ozone is an activated, trivalent (three atoms) form of oxygen. Oxygen is O2 whereas ozone is O3. Over a period of minutes, ozone breaks down into two atoms of regular oxygen - by giving up one atom of singlet oxygen leaving a single, reactive oxygen atom. Healthy cells that have sufficient oxygen and nutrients, manufacture an enzyme coating around themselves, which protects them against invasion. Oxygen starved cells are unable to produce enough enzymes to fortify their cell walls, subsequently becoming weaker and more vulnerable. Most microbes and CANCERS are anaerobic; they thrive without oxygen and cannot live in the presence of added oxygen in the blood stream. OZONE treatment is safe because of an enzyme coating that surrounds every cell, which ozone does not penetrate. Bacteria and viruses have no such coatings and are oxidized on contact with ozone. Ozone is germicidal, bactericidal, and fungicidal. The table below outlines the oxidising effectiveness of various substances: Oxidising Re-Agent Oxidising Potential Ozone 2.07 Hydrogen Peroxide 1.77 Permanganate 1.67 Chlorine Dioxide 1.57 Hypochlorous Acid 1.49 Chlorine gas 1.36 Hypombromous Acid 1.33 Oxygen 1.23 Bromine 1.09 Hypoiodous acid 0.99 Hypochlorite 0.94 Chlorite 0.76 Iodine 0.54 Ozone is the strongest oxidant on the market!

WHY OZONE IS SO EFFECTIVE AT CELLULAR LEVEL Ozone Increases white cell production Interferon levels are increased by > 500% Kills bacteria and viruses Increases oxygen levels in cells. Scavenges excess free radicals in the body Ozone oxidizes arterial plaque. (Cholesterol) Prevents cancer cells breaking of from tumours (TNF) Note: There are more than chemicals to our food in one way or another and less than 10% have ever been tested. The FDA mandates that drugs must be thoroughly tested before human consumption. Why not food additives? It is often these food chemicals that cause havoc with our immune system. Ozone is able to penetrate to all organs and cells in the body and remove poisons and toxins from our bodies. 3 IS OZONE SAFE TO USE? There are thousands of references documented in the medical literature on the safe use of medical ozone therapy or oxygen therapy from doctors and professionals around the world. Here are just a few: Ø Ø Currently there over German Physicians use ozone therapy in their offices to perform 6 million chronic illness treatments annually. International Ozone Association information and the Machine Manufacturer Reference report over 7,000 MEDICAL DOCTORS in Europe using medical ozone safely and effectively, some for more than 40 years.

Ø Ø In 1980, a study done by the German Medical Society for Ozone Therapy published that 644 Therapists treated a total number of patients with ozone where ozone treatments were administered. There were only 40 cases with side effects and only 4 fatalities. This is the lowest side effect rate in existence. In contrast - Reports from the USA JAMA (Journal of American Medical Association) indicate the following:-the author is Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health and she describes how the US health care system has contributed to deaths per year: 12, unnecessary surgery 7, medication errors in hospitals 20, other errors in hospitals 80, infections in hospitals 106, non-error, negative effects of drugs These total to 225,000 deaths per year from complications from the above! 4 THE STEAM SAUNETTE 4.1 Background The health benefits of steam rooms and saunas are well documented and do have valuable detoxifying effects on their own. During a fever, the functioning of the immune system is stimulated, while the growth of bacteria and virus is forced to slow down. Studies indicate that the number of white blood cells in the blood increased by an average of 58% during artificially induced fever. The generation of antibodies speeds up, as does the production of interferon, an anti viral protein that also has powerful cancer-fighting properties.

4.2 Steam Saunette TreatmentT The Ozone Steam Saunette is a hot steam cabinet into which ozone is introduced, which then enters the body through the pores in the skin. The method is called Transdermal Ozone Therapy. As the skin pores open as a result of being surrounded by the warm steam, ozone enters the body transdermally (i.e. via the skin). The ozone then penetrates the blood, lymph and fat. By allowing ozone in and toxins out via the sweating process that is induced, transdermal ozone therapy is one of the most powerful methods of detoxifying and oxygenating the body in existence. The method is not new: Dr. Kellogg first used ozone in steam saunas at his naturopathic clinic in Battle Creek, Michigan as far back as Transdermal ozone therapy also assists in weight loss. During a minute session in the steam cabinet the body burns up to calories. More importantly as toxins are stored in the body's fat reserves, when the body is de-toxified as a combined result of the sweating inside the steam cabinet and the de-toxification that takes place as a result of the ozone, the body no longer requires extraneous fat and so you are more likely to stay slim. How does it assist with cancer? As a result of the different lifestyles that people lead, our bodies can easily become deprived of sufficient levels of oxygen. (Improper breathing, polluted air, inadequate nutrition, junk foods and stress) These situations provide an anaerobic environment where normal cells cannot get enough oxygen and where the levels of oxygen fall below 60%. In order to survive the cells begin to ferment sugar instead of burning it. This results in a greatly reduced energy output which means that a proper and sufficient enzyme coating cannot be maintained around the cell. The restriction on cell replication is inactivated, and the cell begins to make copies of itself wildly. Note: It is this improved cellular respiration that is invaluable in preventing cancer. Cancer cells are tightly packed as they try to force their way in between other cells, and they are thus less able to shed heat. This accounts for effect that heat stress has in killing cancer. Both heat stress and ozone kill cancer, so this treatment offers the best opportunity to eliminate cells which are fermenting sugar anerobically, halt metastasis and restore healthy aerobic function. Because of its negative charge, and the positive charge of cancer cells (due to the lack an enzyme coating) ozone is able to seek out and destroy all the cancer cells with more certainty than the surgeon's crude scalpel.
