As she is roaming the streets, she comes across a photo studio and decides to dress up for a selfportrait. When she walks out of the photo studio, she mysteriously turns back into her twenty year old self. Making the most out of this one in a lifetime opportunity, she changes her name to Oh Doo-Ri (Shim Eun-Kyung) and decides to make the most out of her youth.

Director HWANG Dong-Hyuk said that he was strongly attracted to the story not only because of its wellstructured storyline, but also because of its potential to appeal to all different age groups. After his success with his second feature length film Silenced, he wanted to challenge himself by directing a comedy feature length film. Rising actress SHIM Eun-Kyung (from Sunny and Masquerade) plays the younger version of 74 year old widow OH Mal-Soon (changes her name to OH Doo-Ri).

4 CHARACTERS & CAST OH Doo-Ri OH Doo-Ri is a 20 year old lady with a fair complexion and lean body yet the way she speaks and act is extremely vulgar. When OH Doo-Ri regains her 20 year old appearance she takes advantage of her youth as much as she can. Chasing after her life-long dream of becoming a singer and finding love. SHIM Eun-Kyung SHIM is a rising actress who starred in a number of films and television dramas, notably Sunny and Masquerade. She won the Best Young Actress at the KBS Drama Awards in 2006 and 2008, and won the Best Supporting Actress at the 2011 Grand Bell Awards for her role in Sunny. For her first film after turning 20 years old, she chose to star in Miss Granny as OH Doo-Ri, a mysterious 20 year old lady with a fatal attraction. 5 CHARACTERS & CAST OH Mal-Soon Mal-Soon is an old widow who managed to raise her only son to become a professor at National University. She takes care of everything in her family and reigns as a queen of a household, until she realizes that she is becoming a burden on her family and that she is being sent off to a senior care center. NA Moon-Hee NA has had a prolific acting career in television and film spanning more than five decades. She was acclaimed for her supporting roles in the films Crying Fist, You Are My Sunshine, Cruel Winter Blues, and Harmony. NA also appeared in the TV dramas Wang s Family, The Sons, Mom is Acting Up, Five Fingers, High Kick!, and Famous Chil Princesses. 6 CHARACTERS & CAST Mr. PARK Mr. Park is a widower living next door who worked as a house servant in Mal-Soon s house when he was young. Since then he fell for Mal-Soon and loves her to this day. Despite his age, he is a romanticist who still worries and cares about Mal-Soon all the time. Mr. Park is the only person who knows Doo-Ri s secret. PARK In-Hwan PARK started his acting career in 1965 and has been acting for over 50 years now. He starred in various films and dramas, and he has been especially notable for his roles which showcase a warmhearted, father figure characters. He won the Top Excellence Award at SBS Drama Awards in 1984 and Baeksang Art Awards in PARK played a role of a widower who discovers the truth about Mal-Soon s identity. 7 CHARACTERS & CAST BAN Hyun-Chul Mal-Soon s one and only son, Hyun-Chul is a professor at National University who specializes in studies of the elderly. Hyun-Chul is his mother s treasure; she loves him with all her heart. However, he decides to send his mother off to the senior care center when his wife Ae-Ja gets admitted to the hospital after suffering from Mal-Soon s endless nagging, eventually exploding in exasperation. SUNG Dong-Il SUNG Dong-Il is gaining more popularity than ever with his recent drama Reply 1994 and a reality/variety show Dad, Where are you going? After starting his acting career in 1991, SUNG has built a prolific acting career in film and television. One day, he goes out to look for a new singer and comes across the silver café, where Mal-Soon used to work. As he finds Doo-Ri singing at the stage, he falls instantly in love with her. LEE Jin-Wook After dropping out of his Environmental Engineering course at Cheongju University to pursue acting, LEE made his debut in 2003 as a print model for Panasonic. His roles include a good-natured stalker in Alone in Love, a baseball player in Smile Again, a private investigator in Someday, a plastic surgeon in Before and After, and a North Korean spy in Spy Myung-Wol. LEE became well known by his recent drama Nine with his charismatic and intelligent character. Miss Granny is LEE s first film debut, and he is starring as a music station producer HAN Seung-Woo who falls in love with OH Doo-Ri. 9 ABOUT DIRECTOR HWANG Dong-Hyuk HWANG Dong-Hyuk is a rising film director who is well-known for his previous works My Father and Silenced. After studying for a M.F.A. in Film Production at the University of Southern California, his graduation thesis film Miracle Mile (2004) screened at over 40 international film festivals and won several awards, including the DGA Student Film Award and Student Emmy Award. His feature film debut was My Father (2007), and his second film Silenced (2011) became one of the biggest stories in Korean cinema in The movie became a huge box-office hit attracting 4.7 million viewers. HWANG s third film Miss Granny (2014) is his first comedy film. Unlike his past serious and heartbreaking movies like My Father and Silenced, HWANG is coming back with a wickedly funny comedy to show a different perspective as a dynamic movie director.
