1 Bio and Neurofeedback Protocols for the Chronic Pain BF/NF Treatment and follow up protocols. The seminar is for those specialists in Bio and Neurofeedback who are looking for a more specialized practice in the chronic pain management and treatment protocols. The seminar integrated is with a wide variety of protocols for the treatment of the most frequent pain syndromes. The seminar includes BF/NF treatment protocols for: low back pain, neck pain, neurophaty post TBI pain, knee pain, idiopathic neurophaty and fibromyalgia. Symptoms, clinical, electrophysiological diagnosis and evaluation procedures of all syndromes will be review. Bio and Neurofeedback treatment, intervention and follow up protocols for patients between 10 to 70 years old, will be review and practice in detail. Seminar Dynamics. The seminar in integrated with two sessions types: the theoretical in which the information related to the most common chronic pain syndromes symptoms and diagnosis is discussed and the nature of the brain plasticity basis for the use of Bio and Neurofeedback procedures is settled; the practice sessions that are designed for the participants to develop all the necessary skills for the identification of the systems, sensors and software requirements for the evaluation, treatment and follow up of the pain syndromes reviewed during the seminar. 1
2 The Seminar is designed for: Health care professionals interested in Bio and Neurofeedback. Practitioners who want to expand practice in the treatment of a variety of pain syndromes, physicians, neurologists, psychologists and psychiatrists. Objectives 1. At the end of the seminar participants will have learned the knowledge that allowed them to select the proper patients/clients to be treated with the Biofeedback and Neurofeedback protocols depending on a specific pain syndrome. 2. Participants will develop the proper skills for the operation of the Bio and Neurofeedback systems for the treatment of the pain syndromes review in the seminar. 3. Participants will develop the proper skills to conduct the intervention and the proper treatment and follow up protocols depending on the pain syndrome. 2
