Lakeysha Beard, 39, was travelling between Oakland, California, and Portland, Oregon. Train staff asked her to stop using her phone, but eventually they called the police. The train was called to a halt at a crossing just outside Salem, Oregon, where police boarded to remove Ms Beard. She has now been charged with disorderly conduct. Speaking after the incident to Portland's KATU News, Ms Beard said she felt "disrespected" by the incident.
