Price: $20.00 Perkins Panda Early Literacy Program Developed by Perkins staff, other professionals and parents, Perkins Panda helps teach children pre-literacy skills and helps caregivers be more involved in children s development. The complete kit includes three packets, each with an interrelated storybook, activity guide and cassette. Also: a resource guide, a story box and a Gund stuffed panda with a backpack that can hold a tape player. The beginning chapters lay the foundation for the development of instructional programs for children who are congenitally deafblind or who have become deafblind early in life. Later chapters look more specifically and sequentially at the nuts and bolts of providing meaningful experiences for these learners.
