2 Preface Interest in physical education and sports has become An indication of the extent of the progress of society, Therefore, many Countries have been very interested in the planning of training programs, aims to save players' health and raise their physical, functional and healthy highest levels. The risk of sports injuries is increasing dramatically, not limited for high levels Challenger Athletes and who are trained to have new records, but also occurs in the global, popular and amateur sports. Freddie and Davids (1994) points that Athletes Care is must to protect them from injuries because the risk of injuries not only affects the health of the player, But it may exceed to his sportive levels after treatment period. Compel A. K (2000) refers that the injuries of a broad sense, whether in sports or in public life, one of the main barriers to physical efficiency required, So sports injuries becomes the main axis of interest in sports and physical education medical experts, Try to get into the integrated system of preventive and therapeutic for various kinds of sports injuries that might be exposed to an individual or a player in various sports activities. Research Problem In spite of the obvious scientific progress in the field of sports injuries and various branches of sports medicine and Steady progress in various sports sciences like sportive training, dynamic Sciences and biomechanics and a lot of sciences associated with Sports However, sports injuries in various sports competitions still occur and noted continuously increase incidence, This may be due excessive enthusiasm or the intensity of competition by the players trying to win advanced positions in various sports levels, Making players more susceptible to injuries. The majority of injuries occur in sports field are differ from those in public life, but there are many injuries that are dedicated to a particular game is rare occurrence in the other games, means that injuries are linked to a particular sport, Where the injury is the result of the body or part of the body is exposed into a force greater than the body's ability. The sportive injuries ratio is differ in each sport, There is little consideration for the occurrence of the injury depends on the resistance against injuries whether it's during training or competitions. Aim of Research The research aims to identify: Common sports injuries for collective sports players (football, handball, basketball and volleyball)
3 Season periods in which the sports injuries occurs to collective sports players (football, handball, basketball and volleyball). Common sports injuries for individual sports players (athletics, karate, Romanian wrestling and boxing). Season periods in which the sports injury occurs to individual sports players (athletics, karate, Romanian wrestling and boxing). Research Questions What are the Common sports injuries for collective sports players (football, handball, basketball and volleyball)? What are the most season periods in which the sports injuries occur to collective sports players (football, handball, basketball and volleyball)? What are the Common sports injuries for individual sports players (athletics, karate, Romanian wrestling and boxing)? What are the most season periods in which the sports injuries occur to individual sports players (athletics, karate, Romanian wrestling and boxing)? Research Procedures Research process The researcher used the descriptive method with survey manner, because of its relevance to the research nature. Research Sample The researcher chooses the sample with intentional way, the sample Consists of (482) first class players. Tools and means of data collection Rest meter device for measuring height in centimetres. Medical balance to assess body weight in kg. Official player s records. Consulting the experts. Sports injuries Forms. Application of Search Tools Surveys: Scoping study was conducted in the period from (25/02/2015) to (25/03/2015) on sample of (40) players were chosen with intentional way from the research community and outside the core sample, which was conducted by the Search
4 The fundamental Search experiment The study was conducted in the period from (10/04/2015) to (10/06/2015) on the research sample. Statistical treatments The data were processed with statistical manner: Percentages % The most important results From research objectives, questions and nature of the sample and depending on the results of statistical treatments used in the research, it was found the following conclusions: The most common injuries among football players were The most common injuries among handball players were The most common injuries among basketball players were The most common injuries among volley ball players were The most common injuries among Team sports players were (Cramps, Bruising, muscles contraction, muscles rupture, Fractions and The most common injuries among Athletics players were The most common injuries among Karate players were Fractions) under search. The most common injuries among wrestling players were The most common injuries among boxing players were The most common injuries among Individual sports players were (Cramps, Bruising, muscles contraction, muscles rupture, Fractions and - 4 -
5 The competitions season periods are more frequent injuries due to increase of training loads to achieve the best results for collective and individual sports players. The most important recommendations Based on the outcome of the research results, researcher recommends the following: Conduct periodic inspection for players at the beginning, middle, and end of the training season to identify the injuries early. Necessity to focus on good warm up before participating in training and competition. Necessity to prepare a medical record file to each player to codify the case of the player goes. Avoid re-injured player on the court again before of his recovery period is completed. Consideration of individual differences among the players in training. Set up the training program in proportion to all players. Avoid player participating in training and competition if he was injured. Interest in the maintenance of stadiums, facilities and instruments used, and confirm that the security and safety factors for players are provided. Don t force the player to participate in the competition or training if he is not ready physically or psychologically. Give lectures for players and teams about injuries, how to prevent it, and first aid. Emphasis the rulers on law application, which aims primarily to safety of players. More studying research (sports injuries) is important to develop preventive means to achieve the best results
