3 Describe what you do to keep fit and healthy Listen and fill in the gaps with one to five words. The activity I do (1) is hiking. To do this activity, (2) equipment is a good pair of hiking boots. They need to fit my feet very well or I may get hurt and this can be a big problem. (3), a lightweight backpack for carrying some food and water is necessary. I like to use a walking stick too (4) it helps me to keep my balance when I am climbing up and down a walking track. Hiking is done outdoors and can take from less than an hour to up to 9 hours a day. (5), I go to the Green Mubazzarah and hike around the park, or I climb Jebel Hafeet. It takes about 2 hours to get up to the top from the car park at the bottom. There are (6) why I do it. (7) I like to experience nature.
