1 Does the HealthVest really work? If you haven t noticed by now, there is extreme pressure by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to provide clinical trials showing statistically valid results reporting on how effective your product performs. If you use testimonials, they had better be authentic unpaid and uncoached in any way. The HealthVest is proud to be the first exercise device to display the Infomercial Testimonial Group's Certification. What does this mean to you? It means if we say the HealthVest will give you Twice the Workout in Half the Time, it will. If we say the HealthVest will improve your posture so you get more oxygen to burn fat faster, it will. If we say the HealthVest get rid of those unwanted inches fast, it will. If we say no matter if you walk or run, use a treadmill or elliptical trainer, use exercise videos or a stationary bicycle the HealthVest will make all of those more effective and give you a faster result, it will. Truth is we don't have to say any of that. People who used the HealthVest did and we have the certification to prove it. HealthVest - Twice the Workout Half the Time We decided to compare walking on a treadmill, with and without the HealthVest. The time, speed and incline of the routine were the same. We measured EPOCH (Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption), Ventilation, Oxygen Consumption, Respiration Rate and Total Energy Consumed.

It can easily be expressed with a number value from 1.0 to 5.0. Simply: Minor effects on fitness level Maintains fitness level as it is
3 Improves fitness level Marked improvement in fitness level 5.0 Overreaching You will notice, without the HealthVest, a treadmill has little effect on your fitness level (Training Effect 1). However, with the HealthVest, we see a four-fold increase in the training effect (Training effect 4), making the workout highly effective in improving your fitness level. A 400% improvement in Training Effect documents what we have been saying all along. It means that if you add the HealthVest to whatever you are doing, whether you walk or run, or use exercise equipment or workout videos, you will see Twice the Workout-Half the Time benefits. Other equipment makers may say you can get twice the workout, but only the HealthVest can say in half the time. Elastic Tubing Resistance tubing reaches its peak load when the muscle is fully contracted, and this is when exercise is most effective. When using free weights, resistance drops when the muscle is fully contracted; needless to say, free weights are not nearly as effective as the HealthVest resistance tubing. With resistance tubing, the greater the stretch, the greater the resistance, so you'll always have the right resistance for any and every exercise. With free weights, the weight is always the same. Since 10 lb. dumbbells will always weigh 10 lbs., the weight will be too light for some exercises and too heavy for others. Let's say that, you want to work your chest muscles in the upright position with free weights. You push both arms away from your chest, as you would push a door open with both hands. With this action, the natural force of gravity pushes the weights toward the ground. As a result, to keep the weights up, you're using your anterior shoulder muscles not your chest muscles. With the HealthVest, resistance comes from the waist and behind. When you push away to work the chest, you actually work the chest! It is this HealthVest design that
4 allows an unlimited variety of exercises, while free weights limit you to three, possibly four exercises. In addition, you can easily take the HealthVest when you travel. Do you want to pack a variety of dumbbells every time you go somewhere? The HealthVest will work your leg, thigh and buttocks muscles, and just by wearing it, you'll have all the weight-bearing exercise you need for your spine, hips and the long bones of your legs. When it comes to portable exercise equipment, dumbbells just can't compare to the HealthVest. So How Do You Build Muscle? Building muscles Walking and running, and most aerobic exercise will not build muscle. If running could build muscle then marathon runners would be some of the strongest people in the world and in fact, they are not. Muscles are built through resistance training. As muscles are stressed, microscopic damage occurs to the muscle fibers. This is what causes the soreness you feel after a good workout. The need for varying workouts If you shift to a lower intensity workout until the soreness goes away, the muscles will heal naturally. When they do, they become stronger. As muscles become stronger and increase in size, they are able to burn fat more efficiently. As you gain strength, you need to increase the resistance on the muscle to make it even stronger. The need for increased resistance Resistance tubing has been shown to be one of the most effective ways to provide the stress necessary to increase muscle strength. Resistance tubing reaches its peak load when the muscle is fully contracted. This is when the exercise does the most good. Free
5 weights, on the other hand, can drop from peak load when the muscle is fully contracted. The HealthVest's graduated series of resistance tubing makes it the ideal resistance device.
