2 Beg beginning yo yarn over Ch chain dec decrease Sc single crochet rem remaining Hdc half double crochet GAUGE Dc double crochet 4 hdc rows = ¾ inch Trc triple crochet 9 hdc = l inch Sk skip MATERIALS Sl slip stich I used crochet thread no. 10 but any yarn will RND round work as long as the gauge is correct. Rep repeat A no. 8 crochet hook is required for the gauge Sp space 5 buttons are needed to finish outfit The sweater is designed to fit a toddler ages 18 and 36 months. Sewing needle for sewing seams and buttons The sweater measures 10 ½ inches long, the sleeves are 7 ½ inches from shoulder. The head band measures 17 inches but can be made smaller or longer by the number of row done. It has a good stretch to it. It can also be adjusted by the sewn in button. Simply fold the crochet spaces onto the button to make it smaller. Dec st- leaving the last loop of either first 2 sts or last 2 sts of a row, yo and draw through all loops. V st dc, ch 1, dc into same st Shell - 2 dc, ch 1, 2dc, into same st Dec2dctog- leaving the last loop of 2 sts, yo and draw through all 3 loops Dec3dctog- leaving the last lopp of 3 sts, yo and draw through all 4 loops Cluster stitch leaving last loop of each dc on hook work 3 dc in next space, yo, draw through all 4 loops Popcorn stitch- make 5 dc into same stitch, turn work, sc to top of first dc, ch l Page 1

ROW 2- Ch 1, sc into each sc around, at corner, 3sc,. At bottom edge, ch 5, sc into ch 5 sp,,. Following pattern of the sc at bottom of sweater, dec 2 at each section, join ROW 3- Ch 1 sc into next 38 sc, ch 3, sk 2 sc, sc into next 7 sc, ch 3, sk 2 sc, sc into next 7 sc, ch 3, 3 sc into corner st, following pattern, sc around with 3sc at corners, follow pattern at bottom with ch 5 sp and sc where called for. Finish last sc at corner and fasten off. TRIM AROUND SLEEVES Attach white thread at any ch 5 sp, ch 5, sc into next ch 5 sp, at dc pattern, sc into middle dc, rep this pattern around, join. Next 2 rows, sl to top of ch 5, ch 5, sc into next ch 5 sp, rep this pattern around, join. Fasten off. Sew 3 button to front of sweater. Sweater complete. HEADBAND Ch 20, sc into 5 th st on ch, ch 5, sc into next 5 th st on ch, ch 5,sc into last ch. Turn, ch 5, sc into next ch 5 sp, ch 5, sc into next ch 5 sp, ch 5, sc into last ch 5 sp. Turn. Repeat this pattern until you reach the length desired. Once length is done, the next row is zigzag between first and last row. ch 3, sc into ch 5 sp at first row,, ch 3, sc into second ch 5 of last row, ch 5, sc into next ch 5 sp of first row, ch 5, sc into sp of last row. Once you have this complete, fasten off. I sew a decorative button on the headband, this way I can fold the ch 5 sp into the button to adjust the length. Have fun crocheting.
