1 MARKING RING VEIN GRAFT MARKING RING-VEIN GRAFT The aorta to coronary saphenous vein graft is widely used for the treatment of coronary atherosclerosis. Assessment of the post-operative result requires direct catheterization of the graft, and locating the proximal orifice can be difficult. The Vein Graft Ring is designed to be placed around the aortic end of the graft prior to completion of the proximal anastomosis. After completion of the proximal anastomosis the ring is sutured to the aorta by interrupted 5-0 or 6-0 sutures. The ring has been found helpful to the cardiologist in locating the aortic end of the graft. 3 Suture Ring CRAWFORD SUTURE RING Affords a convenient method of retaining sutures in mitral and aortic valve replacement Diameter 9" (23 cm) GRUNWALD SUTURE GUIDE HOLDER** The Grunwald Suture Guide Holder, when used with the Gabbay-Frater Suture Guides TM *, affords a convenient method of keeping numerous sutures properly aligned during cardiac valve replacement procedures. The holder can be positioned directly over the sternotomy retractor. Three spring clips on the inderside of the holder secure it to the surgical drapes. Three sterile, disposable Gabbay-Frater Suture Guides TM may be placed on the retaining posts of the holder either before or after placement of the holder over the sternotomy. The Grunwald holder provides a flat, constant, and secure surface for the suture guides and speeds placement by eliminating the need for using numerous towel clips that can also tend to clutter the operative field.
