Skin diseses re mnifested becuse of the bcteril infection, virl infection, fungl infection, prsitic infection nd cusing different skin mnifesttions like dermtitis, folliculitis, erysipeles, etc., though modern science hs been estblished s mjor medicl system nd hving controlling the emergency conditions. Ayurved (the life science) hving role not only in the prevention of diseses but lso helpful in curing the chronic iseses especilly like skin disorders. In this study single clinicl tril with pre test follow up nd post test ssessment ws done with shodn nd shmn tretment which include sdyovmn nd sdyovirechn. Internlly Arogyvrdini vti,khdirrist, combined churn yog nd mhmrichyditil with helthy life style ws lso dvised. In the present study it cn be concluded tht shodn nd shmn therpy with life style modifiction helps in curing. It is sfe nd effective tretment for kphjtwk vikr. Most of the skin disorders re developed from bnorml functioning of the gni, Fulty dietry hbits like incomptible foods, irregulr mels pttern nd hbits like smoking,lcohol, psychologicl stress nd lso by the infection etc.,. In yurved ll the skin disorders re explined under the heding of kusht in which hetu, lkshn, nd chikitssiddnt hs been nrrted. The kphjtwkvikr is one of the mjor disese cused by the mityhr nd vihr ( kph ggrvting fctor) nd it is incresing dy by dy. So in this vikr, shodn nd shmnushdichikits with life style modifiction ws lso dvised. CASE HISTORY A 21 yer old mle ptient complining of kndu, (itching senstion over groin region, penis, buttock region, nd below the umbilicus), twkvivrny (reddish discolortion with mild dischrge), nd other ssocited symptoms like nidr (loss of sleep) ws lso present since 18 months. The ptient life style history ws lso tken regrding the food hbits, exercise, sleep etc., exhibited ltered life style, ptient ws visited mny modern hospitls nd took medicine but ws not stisfied by the tretment hence to get solution for his problem he pproched to SVPRAMC & H BADAMI. Dignostic criteri kndu, (itching senstion over groin region, penis, buttock region, nd below the umbilicus), twkvivrny (reddish discolortion with mild dischrge). Method of collection of dt nlyze The generl kychikits cse sheet Proform ws preferred which contins lifestyle of the ptient nd who comes under the dignostic criteri were collected. Twkvivrnyt before tretment it ws grde1, fter tretment becomes grde0. Associted lkshn i,e nidr before tretment it ws grde1, fter tretment becomes grde 0. So bove results shows the significnt reduction in the symptoms. The effect of shodnchikits, shmnchikits nd life style modifictions which ws dvised during the course of tretment will be discussed. In this study the effect obtined by the sdyovmn might be due to dosprtynikshodn i.e vmn is lwys for kph. the drugs used in sdyovmn re ystimdhuphnt nd nimbphnt. The ystimdhuuphnt is ct s vmnopg&tridoshr& nimbi phnt is vmkdrvy nd is hving tikt,kshy rs, lghu,rukshgun, sheetviry, ktuvipk, nd kphhr. The effect obtined by the sdyovirechn might be due to kostsuddi.the drug used in sdyovirechn is gndrvhsterndtil with ushnjl s nupn.the ernd is hving snigdtikshnsukshmgun, mdhurksy rs & ktu s nurs, mdhurvipk, ushnviry&kphvthr.. The combined churn yog contining ll the drugs re hving tiktkshy rs, lghurukshgun,ktuvipk&kphhr,vrny. Khdirrist [13] is hving tiktkshy rs, lghurukshgun, sheetviry, ktuvipk, kph pitt hr& ct s kushtgnprbhvidrvy. 47

These dietry rules might be benefited due to esily digestible regulrised food hbits, tiktshks, voiding guru &kphvrdkhrs&vihrs like exercise & voiding divswpn ws dvised. CONCLUSION The sdyovmn, sdyovirechn, combined churn yog, rogyvrdinivti,khdirrist, helps in reducing the symptoms nd the life style modifiction contining hrvihr lso helps in decresing the symptoms nd mintining the helthy life style. Hence the multiple pproch tretment ws benefited due to multiple ctions.
