Herbs with diuretic effect - for oedema long ago, nowadays to prevent infections as a complementary treatment - complex effect, e.g. flavonoids + essential oil + saponins - improve the water secretion, reduce the development of kidney stones - few studies - contraindication: in hypertonia, oedema, weight loss
