What does aftercare mean? The care and support a family receives while in the hospital continues indefinitely. Currently we have more than 6,000 families in our program. Each year approximately 600 new families are added to our program.
Our role with families To act as an advocate for donor families To provide support to donor families in the months and years following the donation To honor donors and donor families for the Gift of Life To provide an opportunity for donor families to share their experience with others an outlet for healing
Donor Family Events
LifeSource Donor Family Quilt
Donor Families & Recipients We had one very brave recipient write to us so far, and I cannot express what that letter and card means to me. It is so comforting to know the outcome for the kidney recipient David was able to help. Hearing from him made it more real, and makes us once again so proud of David. Donor Sister
