2 This year CRCNA32 would like to thank you for attending our annual convention. We are grateful for the ongoing support we ve received throughout the year to make this event happen. We re here to support you with anything you need. You can identify us wearing Green T-shirts, and some of us will have radios to better serve you. We are very excited to have several hundred newcomers attending CRCNA32. They are the most important people in our fellowship! We encourage everyone to welcome them on the journey of recovery. The newcomers will have a white registration bag with the blue NA symbol wearing a white lanyard. Each of them will receive in their registration the NA white booklet. Our convention can be a bit overwhelming. Please help the newcomers with questions they may have regarding meetings, workshops, the hospitality room and all the fun activities planned this weekend. We appreciate your support and look forward to being of service to everyone this weekend! The money collected from registration is used to pay hotel and convention facilities, associated services, equipment rental, registration packets, printing of programs, brochures, and other related expenses. Administrative expenses include rent for committee meetings, bank charges, and general expenses prior to the convention. We believe that once participants understand that it is the fees from registration that make this event possible, the reasons for registration become clear. The registration funds collected are used for the planning and implementation of present and future conventions. Registration includes workshops, dances, hospitality room, and convention activities. Registration Hours Friday 1pm -7pm Saturday 8am-6pm Conduct The Colorado regional convention asks that you help us maintain the condition of the hotel. Be conscious of your behavior and the behavior of those around you. Let s remember that when we present ourselves in public facilities, we put Narcotics Anonymous on display for all to see. Our personal conduct is a reflection of our program in action. Our behavior becomes a direct influence on the opinion others have about our fellowship.

3 Smoking Please respect the hotel s rules by smoking only in designated areas (including vaping/ electronic cigarettes). Help CRCNA by cleaning up after yourselves. Smoking in a hotel room will result in a $150 room charge. Media Statement Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion. We need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and film. This policy protects the membership of NA and the reputation of the fellowship. We ask that members of the fellowship who are approached by the media please refer all inquiries to CRCNA committee members, identified by the green with white lanyards on their registration badges. In turn, we ask that members of the media in attendance not use any recording devices or take any pictures of our members. This is for the protection of the fellowship and its members and honors the tradition of anonymity. CRCNA would also like to note that any references made at any time during the convention which are not part of, or directly related to NA or CRCNA, are provided solely as a service to our members and doesn t imply endorsement of any relationship to any commercial enterprise, company, location, organization or institution. MERCHANDISE Merchandise Hours*: Friday 1:00pm-10:00pm Saturday 9:00am-10:00pm *Merchandise will not be sold during main speakers CONVENTION CENTER B Alternative Merchandise Hours*: Sunday - 9:00am-12:00pm CONVENTION CENTER B *The alternate merchandise session provides an opportunity for NA groups, areas, and regions to sell NA goods to convention attendees. Table space will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. HOSPITALITY SUITE Hospitality Suite Hours Friday 4:00pm - Sunday 12:00pm BEAVER CREEK MEETING ROOM *The hotel requires that all food served in the Hospitality Room must be store-bought or prepared in a commercial kitchen. Please do not serve home-cooked or homemade foods* PARKING As a CRCNA participant parking is provided, please ensure to get your parking ticket validated at the Front Desk of the hotel or at the registration desk to avoid a fee.

4 The Twelve Steps of Narcotics Anonymous 1. We admitted that we where powerless over our addiction, that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. 3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him. 4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. We admitted to God to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. 7. We humbly asked him to remove our shortcomings. 8. We made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all. 9. We made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10. We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. 11. We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood him, praying only for the knowledge of his will for us and the power to carry that out. 12. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these step, we tried to carry this message to addicts and to practice these principles in all of our affairs. The Twelve Traditions of Narcotics Anonymous 1. Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends on NA unity. 2. For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority - a loving God as he may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants; they do not govern. 3. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using. 4. Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or NA as a whole. 5. Each group has but one primary purpose - to carry the message to the addict who still suffers. 6. An NA group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the NA name to any related facility or outside enterprise, lest problems of money, property, or prestige divert us from our primary purpose. 7. Every NA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. 8. Narcotic Anonymous should remain forever nonprofessional, but our service centers may employ special workers. 9. NA, as such, ought never be organized, but we may create service boards or committees directly responsible to those they serve. 10. Narcotics Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the NA name ought never be drawn into public controversy. 11. Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and films. 12. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.
