2 Background A young Physician from Bangladesh came to Japan as a PhD scholar: To learn about how to adopt a better strategy to support pregnant mothers and their families To convince health care provider to support their clients with respect and kindness To change practice into policy and also policy into practice MCH Handbook is the real answer! Study shows it supplements and complements Health care system to empower women and ensure continuum of care. MCH handbook is a two way communication and health promoting tool, home based record keeping and referral document
