LEARNING DISABILITIES The Center for Student Access recognizes disability as an integral component of diversity. We consult with students, faculty, and staff to support the ongoing development of an accessible college. In an effort to keep the dialogue on disability alive, CSA strives to think critically about disability identity, politics, the law, and how disability fits into the world of higher education. It is our goal to remain malleable in the face of changing views about the nature of disability, and to be transparent in our guiding philosophies.

The information on pages 3 and 4 is provided for planning purposes. Due to seat limitations, enrollment is based on a first-come, first-serve basis and LCC requires a 15 student minimum for a course to run. Attendance at a one-hour orientation is required to register for courses. See the attached Program Approval Form for specific orientation dates. Lansing Community College does not currently require a Criminal Background Check. However, it is important for students to be aware that when/if they apply to take the MBLEx exam and/or apply for licensure in any other state, there may be criminal background limitations which would preclude certification/licensure.
