Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization SASTM is a form of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). These instruments resonate better than any other products in the market!

SASTM Seminar Overview Seminars teach participants how to effectively use instruments to elevate and treat soft tissue dysfunction, chart the kinetic chain and understand how it is integrated into the full spectrum of rehabilitation This seminar is recommended for Medical Doctors and Students, Chiropractors and Assistants, Physical Therapist and Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Assistants, Licenses Massage Therapists and Athletic Trainers.

SASTM Personal Clientele Toyota, BMW, Ford, and Isuzu. NFL (National Football League) NBA (National Basketball Association) MLB (Major League Baseball) Cirque du Soleil USA Olympics & Track & Field NIKE Training Center University athletic training programs

Upon Completion, Participants will be able to: Understand the differences and similarities of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization versus traditional hands only mobilization. How to effectively use instruments to evaluate and treat soft tissue dysfunction. Integrate the use of SASTM within a comprehensive rehabilitation program. Recognize how to implement the SASTM within the proper stages of tissue healing and in various conditions.

What is SASTM? SASTM Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is designed to educate and simulate an awareness of the management of musculoskeletal disorders by the utilization of soft tissue mobilization with instruments to assist in the location of soft tissue adhesions. The SASTM method is a form of instrument soft tissue mobilization, which enables clinicians to efficiently locate and treat individuals diagnosed with soft tissue dysfunction using ergonomically designed instruments that fit the size of the adhesion.

What is SASTM? This method detects and treats fascial restrictions, encourages rapid localization and effectively treats areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration. Treatment is conducted in conjunction with a rehabilitation regiment designed to restore patients to their pre-injury level of activity. Rehabilitation is accomplished through the implement of a functional progression program designed to correct biomechanical deficiencies by addressing musculoskeletal strength, and muscle imbalances throughout the entire kinetic chain.

What is the SASTM method for therapy? Flexibility, strengthening and muscle re-education are employed, as well as, additional modalities such as joint mobilization, to provide patients with optimal results in a minimal number of treatments.

Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Visit Enter SASTM in the search box for an article on Sound-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization which ran on May 22, 2006, Vol. 24, Issue 11. The Next Generation of Soft-Tissue Rehabilitation
