4 GLOSSARY BREATHABLE Caresia garments are breathable so you remain comfortable while wearing them. THERMAL RELEASE Even though Caresia garments are wrapped over, they help to keep your limb cool by releasing warm air. WICKABLE Caresia garments help wick moisture and sweat away from the skin to keep your limb dry and cool. DIGIT SPACERS Solaris proprietary digit spacers separate and cradle individual fi ngers to enhance comfort and treat individualized swelling in your digits. MACHINE WASH Caresia garments are machine washable on permanent press with mild detergent. Do not use additives like bleach or fabric softener. MACHINE DRY Caresia garments are machine dryable. Proximal Interphalangeal Joints (PIPs) The joints between the fi rst and second phalanges of the fingers and toes Metacarpals (MCPs) The small bones in and around the knuckles of the hand. 4

5 UPPER EXTREMITY GARMENTS GLOVE (CR-UE-AC) Works to relieve swelling and tissue induration in your fingers and hands. Unit can be paired with Caresia Arm bandage liners. Digit spacers are included. GAUNTLET (CR-UE-BC) Provides coverage to the PIPs without restricting fi nger function. Unit can be paired with Caresia Arm bandage liners. Allows for separate wrapping of the fingers. 5

6 WRIST TO AXILLA (CR-UE-CG) Can be worn with or without the Glove or Gauntlet for full arm coverage. Left or right specific design. MCPS TO AXILLA (CR-UE-BG) Coverage to the MCPs allows for individual finger wrapping. Left or right specific design 6

7 LOWER EXTREMITY GARMENTS BELOW KNEE (CR-LE-AD) Open toe design provides coverage from toes to knee. Can be paired with the Caresia Thigh unit for full leg coverage. THIGH (CR-LE-DG) Supplements the Caresia Below Knee garment; also provides relief when worn alone. Overlaps the knee to prevent gapping when worn with Below Knee liner. 7

8 FOOT (CR-LE-AB) Helps relieve edema of the foot and ankle, as well as pain from prolonged standing. Boots sold individually. 8
