For some foot orthoses, HBF will only pay a benefit when provided by an approved podiatrist or orthotist. 7 HBF will cover the cost for by road only for circumstances classified by the state provider as requiring attention. HBF will not pay a benefit for air services. Benefits only payable for services and provided by providers that are approved by HBF. Since not all providers are HBF approved, be sure to ask us first. There is a limit of 1 initial consultation per service, per calendar year. The information in this brochure is correct at 15 February 017.
